Porini Cheetah Camp, Ol Kinyei in Kenya offers adventurous safari drives are enjoyed in this conservancy as well as in the nearby Maasai Mara National Reserve and the adjacent Naboisho Conservancy.

The Porini Cheetah Camp is unfenced and nestles within a private conservancy away from the usual safari crowds.

Featuring only six Safari Tents, guests are ensured of tranquillity and privacy during their stay while being provided with the most natural and amazing wildlife experience. With Solar power available, each tent offers en-suite bathrooms with a hot shower, a flush toilet and water on tap.

Porini early morning, the evening and the night safari drives are conducted within the Ol Kinyei Conservancy as well as the adjacent Naboisho Conservancy. The safari drives are offered in 4×4 safari vehicles accompanied by an expert safari guide where travellers will experience the wilderness without the presence of many other tourist vehicles.

A fantastic experience is a full day spent in the Mara National Reserve during which a picnic lunch is served. Bush breakfasts combined with safari drives are available in the Naboisho Conservancy.

To access the Porini Cheetah Camp, return flights from Nairobi to the nearby Naboisho Ol Seki airstrip using the daily scheduled services of Safarilink, one of Kenya’s leading safari airlines, can be booked.

A stay at the Porini Cheetah Camp can ideally be combined with any of the other Porini Camps making for a memorable safari journey through Kenya.

  • Day 1: 10 am a flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to the Mara. Porini Cheetah Camp staff will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to camp. After lunch takes an afternoon safari drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
  • Day 2: After an early breakfast, guests enjoy a safari drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve in search of the 'Big Five'. Return to camp in the late afternoon, after a picnic lunch in the Reserve. In the afternoon, head out on an evening safari drive within Ol Kinyei Conservancy – stopping at a viewpoint for a sundowner. Continue on a night safari drive looking for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at camp.
  • Day 3: Take an early morning walk in the Conservancy escorted by Maasai warriors and return for breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip and fly back to Nairobi (arriving around 12.15 pm).
