The Ngoyanai springs provide permanent water in this magnificent region attracting large numbers of wildlife. Known for its resident lion pride which can often be seen hunting at the camp, guests can hear the lions roar during the night.

Featuring only seven Luxury Tents, guests are ensured of a tranquil and private wilderness experience. The Luxury Tents are well-appointed with furnishings and fabrics personally collected by Liz on her travels. The personal touch of exclusivity in the tents combined with the extraordinary wildlife provide a contemporary ‘Out of Africa’ experience.

Richard’s River Camp provides travellers with the opportunity to enjoy safari drives during the day as well as at night. Furthermore, guests have the opportunity to enjoy birding and scenic bush walks, sundowners, meals in the bush as well as cultural visits to a local Masai Village which is located in close proximity to the camp. Guests may also embark on a thrilling Hot Air Balloon Safari during which they can explore this vast wilderness from above.
