The Explorer Camp is a camping experience reminiscent of safari days gone by. Guests camp in traditional unfenced tents and enjoy daily walks into the reserve to explore nature at its best. Thrilling outdoor activities await guests whereby they get to learn about the indigenous wildlife and the vegetation. Safari drives are conducted early in the mornings and late in the afternoons while visitors also have the choice to participate in the exciting walking safaris and the boat trips.
The Gondwana Family Lodge features spacious family rooms, a kids activity room, a lawn and outdoor play area, as well as an outdoor swimming pool for families to enjoy. Child minding services are offered at an additional cost for kids under the age of 4 years as they are too young to participate in the safari drives.
