The Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp in Tanzania is a moveable safari camp which is set up at three locations in the Serengeti.

Throughout the year offering Sanctuary guests an unbeatable safari experience on the migration path. Kichakani Guests stay in great safari luxury tents which offer modern comforts to ensure a most memorable African safari stay.

The main tent provides lounges and dining wings welcoming guests to enjoy relaxation. Promising amazing panoramas, the tents open to the sides allowing for beautiful landscape views.

The Kichakani Serengeti Camp offers ten five star tents under canvas each of which has been styled with absolute distinction. Each of the luxury tents provides a wooden viewing deck and en-suite bathrooms featuring authentic bucket showers. A personal tent butler is available day and night to fill each bucket shower for guests to use.

Guests are in for a wonderful dining treat being able to savour international flavours combined with kachumbari (traditional Tanzanian salsa), as well as coconut beans, paprika, cinnamon, and chilli from Zanzibar to name but a few.

From any of Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp’s locations, the wildlife viewing on the open plains, the sweeping grasslands and rocky kopjes are one of the best. Wildebeest, zebra, Thomson’s gazelles, and the predators use the camp's location path for their migration routes annually.

Besides flying in, guests can also access this camp by road. It is about three hours away from the Ngorongoro Crater and seven hours from the town of Arusha. For the light aircraft flights to the camp, luggage is limited to 15kg in one soft bag.

• Central Serengeti from 1 June 2018 - 15 July 2018 - Seronera Airstrip (SEU)
• Northern Serengeti from 29 July 2018 - 15 November 2018 - Lamai Airstrip.

• Arusha to Seronera airstrip - 1 hour
• Arusha to Lamai airstrip - 1 hour and 30 minutes
• Arusha to Serengeti South airstrip - 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Road transfer times:

• Seronera airstrip to Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp - 35 minutes
• Lamai airstrip to Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp - 1 hour and 30 minutes
• Serengeti South Airstrip to Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp - 10-15 minutes.
