Wilderness Safaris Savuti Camp, Botswana features seven canvas-and-thatch structures of which one is a family room. The Stents offer twin beds convertible to a double bed.
The Family Tent features two inter-leading bedrooms each with its bathroom and entrance. The Star Beds, namely Southern Cross and Orion, are elevated platforms offering an authentic way to sleep out under the crystal clear African skies surrounded by nature.
The camp by Wilderness Safaris is in the private Linyanti Concession along the Savute Channel in Botswana. During the dry season, this area is home to plains game and predators which are home to the mopane woodlands. During the months when the waters flow, game congregates around it.
Activities which Savuti guests enjoy during their stay include day and night safari drives, nature walks and boating (water levels permitting). The Linyanti Concession is an internationally recognised Important Bird Area (IBA). Birding is an incredibly rewarding experience at the Savuti Camp.
Travellers have the unique opportunity to explore the winding waterways by boat in the morning, during midday, or as an afternoon activity. Boating at the Savute Camp is a seasonal activity, and dependent on water levels. From the Sunken Hide, which lies about 48 minutes away from the camp, the Ntshe Hide at the pan provides a different and exciting way of viewing the game with elephant feet sometimes obstructing the view.
