The Shishangeni is a spectacular 39 Thousand acres of an exclusive section in the eastern corner of the enormous Kruger National Park. The Bon Lodge includes three camps: Private Lodge, Camp Shonga and Camp Shawu.
Managed by the Bon hotel group the lodge is in the south-eastern region of the Kruger and features 24 unique chalets. The rooms feature a private wildlife-viewing deck, fireplace, outdoor shower, and sitting area. Inter-leading rooms for families and a minibar are available upon request.
The Shishangeni offers the Principal restaurant, and a private dining room, a la carte and buffet cuisine are also available. Bush dinners, as well as bush breakfasts, can also be arranged. Not forgetting everyone's favourite, the Boma dinner, where you can share your daily experiences around the glowing campfire. On a large private concession in the Kruger, the wildlife viewing is superb. This region of South Africa is renowned for providing some of the best wildlife viewing activities on the African continent.
Guests at the Lodge can enjoy big five safari drives in both the early morning and late afternoon, with a Shishangeni guide when the wildlife is most active. After the late afternoon safari drive, guests will return to the lodge to share their stories while dining on traditional cuisine around a boma fire under the stars of the African sky.
Shishangeni Guests staying at the lodge can book a range of leisure massages. A team of therapists offers treatments that are guaranteed to d-stress and enhance your wellbeing, ranging from Aromatherapy Massages, Indian Head Massages, and Foot Massages. The procedures can be carried out in the privacy of the chalet bedroom or on the chalets private balcony.
