The Sossusvlei Lodge is at the entry gate to the oldest desert in the world and offers travellers luxurious accommodation and exciting activities is a unique natural setting.

With its eco-friendly design and shaded by camel thorn trees, this Namibia lodge blends in beautifully with its magnificent desert surroundings. The 45 individual accommodation units provide private terraces from where scenic views can be admired.

The Sossusvlei Lodge offers three family rooms which offer inter-leading doors between the bathroom. All rooms are en-suite, and importantly all have Air-conditioning to keep out the desert heat.

There are different routes which lead from Windhoek to the lodge. The most straightforward and usually the best road is via Nauchas, Spreetshoogte Pass and Solitaire. The route from Windhoek to lodge is 307 km and takes on average about 4 hours. The road surface is mainly dirt for about 3 and a bit hours.
