Day 01 - Arrive Maun, Botswana: On arrival at Maun Airport, a Mack Air representative will meet and assist you to your onward flight. Depart Maun on a shared light aircraft charter flight to Baines' Camp. The flying time is approximately 16 minutes. Kindly note, however, that all inter-camp flights are subject to multiple pick ups and drop offs en route to your destination which could affect the flying time. On arrival at the airstrip, a representative will meet and transfer you to the camp. The transfer time is approximately 45 minutes.
The camp is on a river, set amongst the shady trees and water of the Okavango Delta, on thousands of acres of private concession neighbouring the Moremi Reserve. The camp, named after the famous 19th-century explorer Sir Baine, features five luxurious suites set on elevated platforms in the tree line with wooden decks that offer expansive views over the permanent water of the river and a lagoon teeming with life.
The raised suites feature a luxury bedroom, en-suite facilities and a private viewing deck. The four-poster beds are fully mobile, giving guests a choice to slumber under star-laden skies. Each room is equipped with a hairdryer, ceiling fan, in-room safe as well as a personally stocked minibar. Avid astronomers will delight in stargazing from the privacy of their deck.
The central area of Baines lodge features an oversized deck for outdoor dining and views over the permanent water of the lagoon. There is a rim-flow swimming pool with two thatched sales on either side for refreshing sunbathing and relaxation. The camp offers informative walking safaris with an armed professional guide, incredible safari drives in open-sided 4X4 vehicles as well as motorised boating and mokoro excursions, subject to water levels. The unique and educational elephant interaction is available where guests have the opportunity of interacting with a herd of three semi-habituated elephants in their natural environment. Day 02 - Sanctuary Baines' Camp: This morning you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with three live-in elephants - Jabu, Thembi and Marula and join them for a walk. Witness them up close to their native environment as they feed, take mud baths and swim. This activity includes a picnic lunch. You are invited to find out the elephants from the ends of their tail to the tip of their sturdy yet delicate trunks.

Day 03 - Botswana
The morning is at leisure to enjoy the wildlife viewing activities on offer at camp. The Camp is a luxury bush camp situated on Chief Island in the exclusive Mombo Concession of the Moremi Reserve. This region is known as the “predator capital” of Africa and is considered to have the most beautiful wildlife viewing in Botswana including the Big Five. Guest accommodation comprises 14 secluded, permanent luxury bush pavilions.
Each unit features a thatched roof, spacious seating area, en-suite facilities with indoor & outdoor showers, as well as a private wildlife viewing deck with hammock and chairs. Each unit boasts a free mosquito net on a four-poster bed, wardrobes, writing desk and minibar. The central camp area, houses the dining area, open bar area, curio shop, library and reception area. This structure has been built into the existing landscape, under a dense canopy of mature Jackalberry, Sausage and Rain trees. The central deck area is split-level and offers expansive views of the floodplain while the lower level of the deck houses an exquisite swimming pool. Day 05 - Sanctuary Chief's Camp: The morning is at leisure to enjoy the wildlife viewing activities on offer.
An optional extra activity - depart from Sanctuary Chief's on a scenic 45-minute helicopter flight flying west of the safari drive routes towards the permanent delta, showing areas which are unreachable by vehicle or boat. Experience the unforgettable views that the helicopter has to offer. Guests have the option of the doors being removed for unlimited photographic opportunities. This is done with the utmost consideration for guest safety. The activity highlights the sheer enormity of the Okavango Delta.

Day 06 - Botswana, Chobe: After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the airstrip for a shared light aircraft charter flight to Kasane. The flying time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Kindly note, however, that all inter-camp flights are subject to multiple pick ups and drop offs en route to your destination which could affect the flying time. On arrival at Kasane Airport, a Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero lodge representative will meet and transfer you to the lodge. The transfer time is approximately 10 minutes.
