Despite its remote setting, the area is rich in wildlife, including four of the Big Five, supported by the life-giving waters of the river. Large herds of elephants frequently move through a nearby migration corridor that links key habitats across Namibia, Botswana, and Angola, adding to the area’s dynamic wilderness appeal.

Positioned on raised decks, the luxury tented suites at Thitaka River Lodge offer refined comfort in the heart of the wild. Six Luxury Tents are nestled within the forest along an active elephant corridor, thoughtfully designed with natural finishes and modern comforts. Each tent features a private deck, offering uninterrupted views and a tranquil connection to the surrounding wilderness.  Each tent measures 51 m² and accommodates two guests.

Guests may also charter a flight to the lodge’s private airstrip, followed by a short 10-minute transfer to the lodge.
