The Ultimate Tiger Fishing Escape: 4 Nights Baines River Camp, Zambia
More Than Just Fishing The Ultimate Tiger Fishing Escape
4-night Tiger Fishing package from USD 1,995 per person
Baines River Camp, Zambia
Dawn on the river naturally drifts into an afternoon spent on a game drive. As the day cools, sundowners are enjoyed in soft, golden light, and evenings stretch out beneath wide, starlit skies where stories are shared over dinner and plans are made for tomorrow. All around you, the bush carries on uninterrupted — elephants moving quietly along the banks, fish eagles calling from above.
Often, it’s a single well-chosen lure that transforms a slow day into something unforgettable — and we have just the one. On the Lower Zambezi, everything unfolds at an unhurried pace, guided by the rhythm of the river. Mornings begin with the quiet anticipation of a cast line, and by afternoon the tales are already forming — the one you caught, the one that escaped, and the version that will only improve with retelling.
Tiger fishing has a way of bringing people closer. Friends fall back into step with ease, while fathers and sons reconnect somewhere between the rush of a strike and the stillness of drifting water. By the time the sun dips low, it’s clear the experience goes far beyond the catch itself. Think of it as the perfect excuse to gather your group and chase one of Africa’s most legendary fish.
Renowned as one of the finest sport fishing pursuits in the world, the formidable Tiger Fish attracts anglers from far and wide. Powerful, quick, and famously elusive, it has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting freshwater species to target. The deep, steady currents of the Lower Zambezi provide ideal conditions, and Baines River Camp offers access to some of the river’s most prized fishing spots.
The four-night Tiger Fishing package is designed to maximise your time and success on the water. With two fishing outings each full day, you’ll have every opportunity to land multiple catches — all within a strict catch-and-release approach.
