Victoria Falls Safari Lodges Victoria Falls Bridge Tour pickup location for the informative and guided Victoria Falls Bridge Tour is at the Day Activity Center at the Falls Resort (Zambezi Sun Hotel and Royal Livingstone Hotel).

The mighty Victoria Falls Bridge is situated in “no man’s land” between the Zambian and Zimbabwean border posts. This walking tour includes a Meet-and-Assist service whereby travellers are assisted through the border procedures.

Please note: Guests will have to carry his/her passport to cross the respective border (Zimbabwe / Zambia). A visit to the Victoria Falls Bridge does not affect the clients’ visa status. Carrying of passports is merely for identification purposes at the respective border. Passports should not be stamped.

The Victoria Falls Bridge Tour begins with registration and signing of indemnity. Once the formalities are done, a guide walks visitors down to the Bridge Tour Viewing Deck where a presentation is given by a trained guide on the History of the Bridge. A guided walk around the Visitors Centre is done as the “visual” part of the tour where the guide shows travellers what was mentioned in the verbal presentation.

After the Visitors Centre walk is completed, there is an “optional” physical under the Victoria Falls Bridge Tour. This entails a briefing on the route, the safety and what to expect on the physical tour. Guests are then provided with the necessary safety equipment. Before proceeding to the bridge, a safety demonstration and safety training is provided to ensure guest safety.

Before departure, guests are given to opportunity to enjoy wandering around the shop or the Visitors Centre in their own time for approximately 30minutes before they are returned to their respective pick-up points. At present, 3 departures per day are offered, one early-morning (9h15), one-midday (12h15), and one mid-afternoon (15h15).
