The 5-star Witwater Safari Lodge & Spa lies on the banks of the lush Phalala River in the Waterberg mountains of South Africa's Limpopo Province.

Witwater Safari Lodge has breathtaking views from the accommodation, public areas, as well as the Spa, can be enjoyed. This malaria-free, world proclaimed Biosphere site is only two and a half hours drive from Johannesburg.

Witwater lodge with eight luxury double rooms, all of which are en-suite, provide balconies with views overlooking the river and the mountains. Each room has been designed for the ultimate luxurious experience with all necessary amenities, as well as air-conditioning and television with DSTV.

Linked by wooden walkways, the East African style free-standing tents under thatch afford the elegant luxury. The private facilities include an en-suite bathroom with a choice of either a beautiful Spa Bath or Steam Shower. Guests are invited to relax outdoors on their private timber deck while enjoying the sights and sounds of the Phalala River flowing beneath.

Guests staying here may experience various delicious culinary experiences. From breakfast in the Bush to silver service fine dining to a hot night in the rustic African style boma, one is invited to enjoy the traditional South African food.

The Lodge is in the malaria-free Game Reserve conservation area of over 6500 ha and currently boasts three of the big five: the Leopard, the Rhino, and the Buffalo. The lodge's experienced Rangers and Trackers ensure memorable encounters with Africa's untamed wildlife and other captivating animals during early morning and late afternoon safari drives.

Free-roaming Cheetah enchant guests while guides divulge some of nature's best-kept animal and bush secrets. An abundance of other antelope, plains game, and predators ensure a complete game experience.

Over the years, the Reserve has gone to extensive efforts to source and re-introduce historically native wildlife into the Waterberg region, in a continuous attempt to preserve diminishing endangered species numbers.

Guests are invited to experience the sanctuary where one can escape and relax. The award-winning health and beauty spa at the Lodge has been recognised with a prestigious spa award.

A private retreat nestled in the heart of the Waterberg allows for a very conducive environment in which conference and seminar groups can make Boardroom decisions. The Conference Room offers seating types like U-Shape, Cinema or Schoolroom style for up to 50 delegates.
