Located approximately 30 minutes from Windhoek, Zannier Omaanda provides a convenient gateway to the Namibian wilderness without sacrificing the feeling of being far from civilisation.

The lodge lies within a private 22,000-acre wildlife conservancy, characterised by open grasslands, acacia trees and indigenous bushveld. The reserve provides a protected habitat for a variety of species, including rhino, elephant and several large carnivores.

Conservation is central to the experience. Omaanda works in partnership with the N/a’an ku sê Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and conservation, while promoting sustainable coexistence between Namibia’s communities and its wildlife.

Soulful Wellness

Wellness at Omaanda is deeply connected to the surrounding wilderness. Days can begin with sunrise yoga and end beneath a sky illuminated by thousands of stars, with time in between for the heated infinity pool, fitness centre or soothing treatments at the spa.

Inspired by traditional Namibian healing practices, the spa is housed within an authentic-style hut and offers massages and facial treatments incorporating locally sourced roots, herbs and spices. Treatments are designed to encourage relaxation, restoration and a renewed sense of wellbeing.

An a la carte breakfast is served daily between 07:00 and 11:00 in the main communal living area, overlooking the reserve. Early risers can request a lighter breakfast buffet before heading out on a morning safari.

At lunchtime, guests can enjoy mezze-style sharing plates, fresh salads and homemade breads. All-day dining is also available beside the pool or in the comfort of the lodge.

Ambo Delights Restaurant

Evenings become a culinary journey through Namibia, with Namibian chef Maria Mumbala leading live cooking experiences centred around seasonal local ingredients.
