When to Go
Kenya is a rewarding safari destination throughout the year. The dry seasons, from January to March and again from late June to October, offer excellent wildlife viewing as animals gather around permanent water sources.
The greener months, particularly April, May and November, bring seasonal rains, especially to the Masai Mara. While wildlife may be more dispersed, the landscapes are lush and vibrant, skies are dramatic and photographic opportunities abound. This is also the season when many animals give birth, making it a wonderful time to witness new life in the wild.
