From there, travel into Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's premier wildlife destination, renowned for its immense elephant populations, abundant predators, and expansive savannahs.

The safari concludes in the pristine wilderness of Mana Pools National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its remarkable walking safaris, dramatic Zambezi River scenery, and exceptional wildlife encounters. Together, these extraordinary destinations showcase Zimbabwe's unrivalled natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and remote wilderness.

Tour Highlights

Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls ranks among the world's most spectacular natural wonders, where the mighty Zambezi River plunges into a series of dramatic gorges. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya—"The Smoke That Thunders"—the immense spray can be seen from kilometres away. Wander through lush rainforest pathways to panoramic viewpoints overlooking the falls or unwind on a scenic sunset cruise along the Zambezi River.

Hwange National Park

As Zimbabwe's largest national park, Hwange encompasses an impressive variety of landscapes, including open grasslands, mopane woodlands, and sweeping savannahs. Famous for its thriving lion population and enormous elephant herds, the park also supports buffalo, leopard, wild dog, and countless antelope species. Numerous waterholes provide outstanding wildlife viewing throughout the year.

Northern Hwange

Northern Hwange offers a more secluded safari experience, where rocky hills, sandstone formations, and seasonal riverbeds create a strikingly different landscape. Guided game drives and walking safaris explore this rugged wilderness, where wildlife congregates around permanent springs. The region is also rich in history, with ancient stone ruins and San rock art offering fascinating insight into Zimbabwe's cultural heritage.

Mana Pools National Park

Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mana Pools is one of Africa's most iconic wilderness destinations. Stretching along the Zambezi River, the park is renowned for its floodplains, towering winterthorn forests, and extraordinary wildlife. Guided walking safaris provide an intimate way to experience elephants, buffalo, lions, and prolific birdlife while discovering the smaller wonders of the bush.

Chitake Escarpment

Located within the greater Mana Pools ecosystem, the Chitake Escarpment is one of Zimbabwe's most remote safari regions. Steep cliffs, dry riverbeds, and scarce water sources attract an abundance of wildlife, creating exceptional opportunities to observe predators and plains game. Game drives, guided walks, and seasonal night drives reveal this dramatic and less-visited corner of the park.
