The Retreat at Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya, offers four beautifully appointed first-floor Day Rooms, providing a peaceful sanctuary for guests looking to relax before or after their travels. While overnight stays at The Retreat and visits to Giraffe Manor are not included, these private en-suite rooms can be reserved for daytime use, allowing guests to enjoy luxurious comfort alongside The Retreats exceptional wellness facilities.

Each room features either twin or king-size bed configurations, spacious walk-in rain showers, private balconies, generous luggage space, and inviting areas to unwind. Waridi and Nandi Rooms feature open-plan bathrooms with separate toilets, while Lily and Alizeti Rooms have enclosed bathrooms for additional privacy.

Additional Guests

Extra guests may be accommodated in selected Day Rooms, although additional beds are not provided. Waridi and Nandi can accommodate guests using either twin or king bedding together with a day bed, while Lily Room offers space for up to two additional day beds.

Children

Children aged 3 to 11 years qualify for child rates, while guests aged 12 years and older are charged at the adult rate. Infants aged 2 years and under stay free of charge and are not included in the room occupancy limits.

The child sharing rate applies only to additional children sharing an existing Day Room, and no extra bed is provided. Standard rates apply for children aged 3 years and older booking a Retreat Pass or Early Bird Package.

Booking Information

The Retreat is primarily reserved for guests travelling with The Safari Collection and can be booked in conjunction with one or more of its safari camps, including Sala's Camp, Sasaab, and Siruai Mobile Camp (excluding Giraffe Manor).

Guests staying exclusively at Giraffe Manor may enjoy The Retreat's facilities during their check-in and check-out period. Should they wish to book a Day Room, Retreat Pass or Early Bird Package outside these times, reservations can be made within six months of arrival.

Standalone bookings for Day Rooms, Retreat Passes and Early Bird Packages become available approximately four weeks before arrival, subject to availability. Please note that transfers are not included when these experiences are booked independently.
