Detailed Itinerary
Days 1 & 2 – Giraffe Manor, Nairobi
Stay: Giraffe Manor
Your safari begins with a warm welcome at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport before transferring to the world-famous Giraffe Manor in the leafy suburb of Langata.
Wake up to one of Africa's most iconic breakfast experiences as endangered Nubian giraffes poke their heads through the dining room windows in search of treats. Spend your time exploring the beautiful grounds, visiting the nearby Giraffe Centre, or relaxing at The Retreat with its spa, infinity pool, gym and wellness facilities.
Optional excursions include visits to the Karen Blixen Museum and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to meet rescued orphaned elephants.
As the giraffes roam freely, interactions cannot be guaranteed.
Days 3–6 – Masai Mara Safari
Stay: Sala's Camp
After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight into the Masai Mara before arriving at the luxurious Sala's Camp.
Perfectly positioned near the migration route, Sala's Camp offers an authentic safari experience with outstanding guiding, exceptional cuisine and elegant tented accommodation. Morning and evening game drives maximise wildlife sightings, while full-day excursions deeper into the reserve provide opportunities to discover even more of the Mara's incredible biodiversity.
Enjoy memorable bush breakfasts, picnic lunches beneath African skies, and sunset drinks overlooking the endless plains before returning to camp to relax on your private deck or hammock.
Days 7–10 – Serengeti Migration Experience
Stay: Olakira Camp
Following breakfast, travel by light aircraft and road transfer across the Kenya-Tanzania border before flying into the northern Serengeti.
Olakira Camp is a unique semi-mobile luxury camp that relocates seasonally to remain close to the migrating herds. Situated near the Mara River, it offers one of the best vantage points for witnessing dramatic river crossings when conditions allow.
Spend your days exploring this wildlife-rich region on flexible game drives while enjoying bush breakfasts, picnic lunches and sundowners in the heart of the Serengeti. In addition to the migration, expect exceptional sightings of predators, elephants, giraffes and abundant plains game.
