Your Fishing Adventure
Your safari begins with two nights at Mutemwa Lodge, where you'll fish the productive waters surrounding the lodge while enjoying comfortable accommodation, outstanding hospitality, and the tranquil beauty of the Zambezi.
The adventure then continues with a scenic 80 km journey upriver to Ngonye Falls National Park. Fishing takes place throughout the journey, with expert guides stopping at renowned Tigerfish hotspots that have produced trophy catches for decades. Boats are equipped with picnic lunches and cooler boxes, allowing for a full day on the river.
Spend two unforgettable nights camping on the pristine white-sand beaches within Ngonye Falls National Park. Comfortable bow tents provide your accommodation, while evenings are spent dining beneath the stars around a crackling campfire.
The highlight of the expedition is fishing the dramatic gorge below Ngonye Falls, the second-largest waterfall on the Zambezi River. Deep channels, powerful rapids, and nutrient-rich waters create the ideal habitat for trophy-sized Tigerfish, offering anglers an excellent chance of landing the fish of a lifetime.
Guests also have the opportunity to visit the magnificent Ngonye Falls and cool off with a refreshing swim before fishing downstream back to Mutemwa Lodge for a final evening of relaxation beside the river.
