Africa on Foot Camp is a traditional walking safari camp in the wildlife-rich Klaserie Reserve, which forms part of the famous Kruger Park in South Africa. The central area of the lodge features the guest lounge which offers two seating areas as well as a library where guests are welcome to read up on the local wildlife and surrounding areas.
This unique safari camps in South Africa also offers a traditional African boma where, in the evenings, guests can keep warm around the fire and discuss the day's events or sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of nature that surround them.
Guests staying here may escape the heat of the summer days in the camp's outdoor swimming pool. The pool area also offers a sun deck where guests relax and soak up the warmth of the sun in between their daily activities while on safari. The Camp is home to only five chalets and a tree house making it an intimate and personal safari experience. The lodge has been designed to offer guests a genuinely rustic bush experience.

All meals are enjoyed as a social event and guests can retire to their rooms when they have finished or move across to the boma area around the campfire. Guests staying at the Lodge have the opportunity to experience traditional South African meals and the famous South African braai.

The safaris are led by experienced guides and trackers who take guests to the best animal viewing areas within the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Guests have the unique opportunity to encounter animals which can only be found on the African continent. Safari drives take place in the early mornings and late afternoons when wildlife encounters are at its best.
While guests are on thrilling walking safaris and exciting safari drives, they will have the opportunity to view some genuinely spectacular animals, fauna, flora, birds, and insects. South Africa's Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is home to a large variety of wildlife, including lion, rhino, leopard, elephant and buffalo. Besides the "Big Five", this nature reserve is also inhabited by zebra, giraffe, warthog, baboon, spotted hyena, hippo, bushbaby, mongoose, impala and a lot more of wildlife animals.
Safari enthusiasts might also encounter cheetah, wild dog, roan antelope, honey badger, bat-eared fox, porcupine, aardvark, aardwolf, civet, caracal and serval to name but a few of the animals that live at Africa on Foot Camp.
Birds that live here include bee-eaters, owls, eagles, rollers, bustards, starlings and hornbills. Being this close to nature, don't be surprised if you see honey badgers strolling through the dining area any time of the day.
