The Cheetah Paw Eco Lodge is situated approximately a 5 hours drive away from Johannesburg and Pretoria and is also easily accessible via daily flights to the Eastgate Airport near to Hoedspruit.

This tented safari camp nestles in the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, where guests are in comfortable safari tents. Delicious home-cooked breakfast and typically warm bushveld hospitality are part of an unforgettable wildlife experience at Cheetah Paw.

Cheetah Paw is home to several species of wildlife, which guests may admire when visiting the waterhole adjacent to the central communal area, or encounter on walking safaris led by a knowledgeable guide. There is prolific bird-life in the area – with some 350 species having been identified.

The peace and tranquillity of the reserve allow travellers to unwind, whether enjoying the sun around the outdoor swimming pool, relaxing in the luxury tent or socialising in the communal lounge area.

Accommodation at the lodge is provided for a total of eight guests, in four luxurious safari tents. The tents are spacious with private decks overlooking the waterhole, which enjoy views of the bush and the Drakensberg Mountains. These luxury tents are located within a close walking distance of the main lodge.

At the restaurant, mouth-watering meals are served to guests. The swimming pool offers a welcoming refreshment during the warm afternoons in the summertime. WiFi is available in the public areas of the lodge for guests who wish to make use of the Internet.

Sightseeing tours as well as transfers, including airport transfers, are available. Besides safari drives, thrilling walking safaris are offered which allow guests to explore the smaller creatures of the bushveld.

Meals at the lodge are homemade and freshly prepared. The menu offers a great mixture of South African and international cuisine, which is guaranteed to satisfy a variety of tastes. The lodge also accommodates special dietary requirements for guests and caters to individual needs on request.

Depending on the weather, the set 3-course dinner is either served in the dining area of the main lodge or out on the deck. The delicious meals are accompanied by the sounds of nature and the animals nearby. The bar at the lodge is fully licensed making for a comfortable place to relax.

The lodge is central to many different attractions, the majority of which focus on the abundant wildlife in the area. Approximately an hour away from this tented camp lies the Orpen Gate, which is one of the entrances to the world-renowned Kruger National Park.

While at the Lodge, guests can arrange to spend the day in the company of an experienced guide who will take them to the best wildlife-viewing areas and interpret what is discovered. There are also various wildlife centres nearby, including an endangered predator breeding centre, wildlife rehabilitation centres as well as elephant-back safaris.
