Experience Botswana rich wildlife regions during a stay in the Okavango Delta at the Duba Plains Camp followed by enjoying the luxury of the Zarafa Camp which nestles in the Selinda Reserve.
Days 1-4: Duba Plains Camp, Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta is home to many habitats and therefore showcases a great variety for wildlife making for an ideal safari destination in Southern Africa. The sensitive and complex environments found here are the largest of the world’s inland deltas. The Duba Plains Camp nestles in the heart of the Okavango Delta.
This magnificent safari camp is built on a wooded island and is connected to the wildlife area by a set of bridges. Five traditional-style tents and the 2 bedroom Duba Plains Suites accommodate guests in comfort during their stay. Each Luxury Tent is set on a raised deck affording guests to admire the views of the surrounding floodplain with its passing wildlife.
Days 4-7: Zarafa, Selinda Reserve
Located in northern Botswana, the Selinda Reserve covers over 320,00-acre upstream from the famous Savute Channel and the wildlife-rich Chobe National Park. Set north of the greater Okavango Delta, this game reserve offers a spectacular and varied landscape with wildlife living in its diverse habitats year-round.
Botswana's Zarafa Camp offers only four rooms making it a very personal safari camp. Its villa, the Dhow Suites, provides guests with two tents and a private main area and is run entirely independently of the main camp. Only a very few camps rival the location of this safari retreat, Botswana’s first and only Relais & Chateaux property. Operated at most environmentally innovative camp, Zarafa may be the “greenest” luxury safari camp on the continent.
