Hoanib Skeleton Coast is in a valley at the edge of the dry Hoanib River in the Palmwag reserve on the verge of the Skeleton Coast Park, in the greater Kaokoveld in Namibia.

The Hoanib Skeleton Coast camp consists of eight large tents with eight en-suite bedrooms with shaded outdoor verandahs.

The vast emptiness untouched by humans no light or noise pollution it is closest a person will get to be on a distant planet. Namibia’s Skeleton Coast is extensive plains, dry ravines, shipwrecks and the rare desert elephants and Rhinos.

Damaraland and Skeleton Coast is a natural curiosity with welwitschias which are thousands of years & old classified as the oldest living plant. Sea mist of the cold Atlantic hits the warm desert creating much-needed moisture.

The Hoanib River is lined with much-needed vegetation which supports Giraffe, Elephant, Rhino, Oryx, Cheetah, Lion & Springbok. Guest can enjoy the flying acrobatics and the local Falcon population nested in the cliffs.

The camp does trips along the river bed and down to the Oasis and onto the coastal dunes to see the Seal colony and the dotted shipwrecks. This lodge should be on everyone's bucket list as a must-see.
