The five-star Impodimo Game Reserve is a safari lodge in Madikwe nestles in the Big Five, malaria-free Madikwe in the North West Province of South Africa. This luxurious lodge features glass-fronted luxury chalets from where beautiful views can be enjoyed.

The Impodimo reserve consists of open woodlands, vast plains, and thickets which are home to 28 different mammal species such as lions, elephants, cheetahs, black and white rhinos, buffaloes, wild dogs, and other wildlife species.

This region of South Africa is dotted with scenic substantial rocky hills while the Dwarsberg Mountain forms the southern border of the reserve. The reserve is also a bird watcher paradise, with over 352 bird varieties. Impodimo offers ten luxuriously decorated suites where guests are welcome to relax in comfort and enjoy the tranquillity of the wilderness.

The Impodimo day starts with an early morning rise to experience a safari drive with a professional ranger. Guests enjoy the untamed African bush on an open Land Rover, searching out Africa’s Big 5 and the humbler animals of the veld. 

Impodimo guests also have the chance to set out on a trekking safari with the equipped ranger to learn the mysteries of tracking and about the region's unusual vegetation.
