Dining at the Impodimo Game Lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve is an exclusive affair for guests. A delicious dinner awaits guests at the outdoor boma where dining under the African starlit sky will provide guests will the most memorable of experiences.
After the afternoon game drive, guests will have the finest Pan-African cuisine in the open air boma where interesting stories of wildlife encounters are shared.
Thrilling early morning and late afternoon & evening game safaris await guests during their stay at the lodge. The Madikwe Game Reserve is Malaria free, and home to the Big Five and is primarily known for the wild dogs.
Professionally guided bush walks offered at this Lodge allow guests to learn about the smaller creatures in the bushveld including the Little Five as well as the plants and their use.
The reserve is an incredible bird watcher paradise, with over 356 bird species already recorded in reserve.
The lodge features an outdoor swimming pool where guests may relax in between the scheduled game drives. Sun lounge chairs invite for relaxation in the warm African sun.

The lodge allows guests to share the wonders of an African game reserve with their children. The safety of kids on safari is of utmost importance to the staff, and for this reason, the lodge reserves the right to limit children's participation in game drives which are designed to bring parents close to big game.

1. From Johannesburg take the N14 and the R 24.
2. From Magaliesburg, take the R509 to Derby to Koster (69km). Watch out for terrible potholes on the road from Derby to the Swartruggens junction (alternative route is the Rustenburg N4)
3. Make a right in Koster to Swartruggens (33km)
4. Continue straight through Swartruggens towards Groot Marico and Zeerust. You do not pass through the town of Groot Marico
5. After entering Zeerust, keep straight on until you see a sign for Gaborone / Madikwe Game Reserve. Turn right there.
6. Continue this road through 2 rural villages and past Madikwe Road Takeaways (a store and filling station) and past Nietverdiend (a store, filling station, and police station).
7. Continue this road past the Abjagterskop Gate for Madikwe Game Reserve on your right.
8. 6 km past the Abjagterskop Gate, you will find another gate (Wonderboom gate) on the right into the park.
