Buffalo Camp, Kapama Private Game Reserve has 12 spacious luxury tents are on raised wooden decks set on an elevated riverbank. Walkways made out of wood join these tents with one another as well as with the central lodge area. The lodge is in the heart of big shade trees and a seasonal river below.

During the dry winter season, antelope and other bush animals use the river course as a pathway in the search for grazing on the reserve. In the evenings and the nights, oil lanterns romantically light up the walkways.

As only a maximum of twenty guests can stay at the camp, guests receive the personal attention and excellent service throughout their stay. The welcoming room is the ideal place where one can relax on the comfortable sofa and watch the magnificent birdlife while enjoying refreshments from the bar.

The public areas are built on the riverbank, surrounded by the wild gardens of euphoria and Aloe. The quaint lounge lies under the vaulted thatched roof complete with ceiling fans. A jump into the elevated rim-flow swimming pool is refreshing in between the safari drives from where views into the forest canopy can be enjoyed. Guests are welcome to make use of the private health and beauty spa facilities which are at the nearby River Camp.

Meals are served a la carte with the delicious breakfast and lunch being available under a canopy of thatch. Weather permitting, dinners are in the African style, outdoor boma around a roaring open fire. Dining in this rustic and natural setting under the star-studded sky makes for an unforgettable experience especially if it is implemented by the wild roar of lions and the calls of jackals and hyenas.

A stay at this unique safari lodge rotates around the exciting wildlife pursuits with safari drives and walking safaris.
