The lounge and bar set under double-volume thatch follow the line of the swimming pool to establish an open and cosy atmosphere. During the colder winter months, the double-sided fireplace offers warmth.
Kapama River Lodge features an excellent wine cellar which has the most exquisite South African wines. Well over 600 wine bottles are available to choose from which is in a temperature-controlled and humidified environment. The exception of French champagne, all the wines, and sparkling Cap Classiques found in this wine cellar is from excellent South African vineyards.
For travellers who wish to stay connected with the outside world, the Media Room provides a satellite television as well as a DVD player. The lodge's Media Room can also be changed into a private conference venue. Guest Internet facilities are available adjacent, for convenience.
Children of all ages are welcome however a responsible adult must accompany children under the age of sixteen during safari drives and bush walks. Children can go on safari drives and walks at the sole discretion of the ranger.
