Kwandwe Ecca Lodge has wooden viewing decks at the lodge that offer a welcoming setting from which to best enjoy the relaxed and natural bushveld atmosphere with a delicious lunch or a refreshing sundowner drink.

The stylish and exclusive offering spectacular views over the surrounding Kwandwe bushveld. Highlights at this intimate lodge are the open interactive kitchen, the great rim-flow lap swimming pool as well as the interpretive library.

Ecca Lodge accommodation is provided in six spacious and well-appointed suites each of which stands on its offering much privacy and exclusivity. Children of all ages are welcome at the Ecca Lodge with the suites being able to accommodate two children under the age of 16 together with their parents. From the wooden deck, magnificent bushveld views can be admired while enjoying the unique sounds and smells of its surrounding.

Children 5 years and younger can unfortunately not participate in safari drives unless a sole-use safari vehicle is booked. Based on availability, this private vehicle can be provided at no charge. These trips with children usually take place during the day between the scheduled early morning and afternoon/evening safari drives. Kids between the ages of 6 to 11 may join the scheduled safari drives at the discretion of the lodge's manager.

Furthermore, kids have the opportunity to participate in the ‘Stripes & Hooves’ adventure at Ecca Lodge, which is a one hour morning safari drive after breakfast to view the reserves 'non-aggressive game which includes giraffes, zebras, monkeys, warthogs and others.

Besides the safari drives, children have many other exciting activities to look forward to which include baking, art and craft, chocolate mould making and many others.

Many exciting outdoor activities are on offer which includes safari drives through this "Big Five", malaria-free reserve, walking safaris, rhino tracking, as well as private specialised photographic safaris.
