Legend Golf Resort is situated in the scenic Entabeni Safari Conservancy of the malaria-free Waterberg region in South Africa's Limpopo Province, this safari and golf resort features no fences allowing guests to experience African nature right on their doorstep.

Located about a 3 hours road drive from Johannesburg, Entabeni is also accessible by air to the reserve airstrip. Well known for exciting wildlife and golfing destination, this five-star resort accommodates guests in lavish suites, offers a diverse and delicious dining experience and the hospitable staff do all they can to ensure a relaxing and memorable stay.

The resort features an 18-hole signature golf course, which includes The Extreme 19th - arguably the most challenging and exciting par 3 in the world which requires a helicopter trip to complete.

The resort offers over 210 rooms, each of which provides comfort and luxury amongst the African bush. The rooms at the resort consist of either a double bed or two single beds, they offer en-suite bathrooms and provide some amenities to ensure guests have a pleasant stay.

The rooms are generously spaced on beautiful grounds, overlooking the golf course and surrounding natural landscapes. The suites appointed with numerous amenities that ensure comfort and relaxation.

The Resort has two different conference rooms, which can cater for up to 200 people. These venues are perfect for conferences, workshops, exhibitions and corporate events.

The Waterberg in South Africa's Limpopo province is a popular area known for its wildlife. At the resort, there are no fences which mean that the wildlife can move around freely and undisturbed in their natural environment. The resort offers some safari activities which guests can partake in during their stay.

Safari drives are booked at an extra cost and take place daily in the early morning and late afternoon, in the company of an experienced guide. This mountainous reserve is home to the Big 5, and they claim an excellent record for leopard sightings. In addition to this, there are approximately 50 mammal species to be seen, over 400 bird species and a range of habitats supporting diverse flora. The area is also geologically and archaeologically interesting.

In addition to the safari drives, guests can visit the Predator Center to view captive endangered predators, The Antelope Center where rare disease-free buffalo, roan, sable and red duiker are bred and the Reptile Center. There is also a cultural museum that celebrates the history and culture of the Monomotopa Empire. At the Great Enclosure, there is a coffee shop, boutique, curio shop and wine shop.

During the safari drives, visitors are led by experienced and knowledgeable guides who can locate the best places for safe animal viewing, and they are more than happy to share their knowledge of the environment and the wildlife with guests.

The Spa at the Resort hosts a whole range of different health and spa treatments as well as beauty products. This exclusive venue at the secluded Lookout Restaurant offers guests and day visitors the chance to relax and recharge in the best possible way.

Children at the Lodge have the opportunity to take part in the Little Legend Program. Here they can learn to have fun and play – experiencing the African bush within a safe, secure environment specially created to cater to their needs. These interactive teachings of the relationship with nature will be taught, and children will learn about the century-old ways of the wild, insects and animals and how nature is entwined in our daily lives.

Golf and The Extreme 19

The Lodge is home to one of the world's unique golf courses which have been constructed and designed by 18 of the world's greatest golfers. Each one of these golfers was appointed to develop each a hole on the course which has resulted in a challenging and incredible golfing experience. The resort also offers a driving range as well as a pro shop.

The Resort also offers one of the most significant Par 3 19th holes on the planet. Extreme 19 is a unique experience all on its own. Golfers take a helicopter 401 meters up to the top of the mountains. Once on top they tee off and try to get the ball into the hole on the Africa Green 400 m below. This has become a top-rated attraction in its right, and the hole has been played by some world-famous celebrities and sporting stars.
