Loisaba Star Beds offers a truly authentic African experience in the Loisaba Conservancy, Laikipia, of Kenya. Guests may rise early in the morning to watch the sunrise over their Star Bed with a hot beverage. Ending the fun-filled days with drinks by the log fire in the Star Beds lounge makes for an exciting evening where stories are shared.
Four-poster, handcrafted wooden beds are located on raised wooden platforms reaching over from the thatched-roof accommodation. These beds are rolled out each night for guests making for a most memorable sleep under the endless African sky. Complementing the surrounding environment, each of the star beds has been built in harmony with the use of rock features.
The open-air bathrooms are built around the rocky features of the kopje, the shower offers solar-heated water, a basin and flush loo.

Guests experience great adventure at Loisaba. The Loisaba Conservancy is home to large herds of elephant, a great population of lion, as well as the rare wild dog and many other species. Visitors may decide for themselves how they wish to spend their time during their stay. Trekking through the bushveld with camels, mountain biking down the escarpment, rafting, horseback riding and driving through the wild canyons are some of the available activities.
