February - being the month of love - inspired our team to combine our home-grown selection of chillies with a “fondness” for chocolate... the result: a scrumptious and exciting blend of these much loved flavours including cakes, bark, dips, sides and sauces. Rest assured for those who feel this union compromises the very heart of chocolate - there will be plenty of treats in there original form!

Chilli is a long-standing fixture of the Makumu kitchen fare - we make use of a wonderful selection from Tangy Peppadew to Chipolte, to the the much feared African Bird’s Eye chill! During the month of February we will pamper you with all the above, including a tastebud explosion that includes a Mozambique-inspired chicken dish on the open fire and prawns piri-piri, to mention but a few.

And for a chocolate indulgence that is entirely guilt free - a chocolate massage scrub in the privacy of your villa by a qualified therapist. Relaxing and rejuvenating… chocolate for the body and the soul!
