Mateya Safari Lodge Madikwe is at the foot of Dwarsberg Mountain Range which forms the southern boundary of the game reserve and the Tweedepoort Escarpment creates the dividing line between the reserve's north and south sections, rising to 1328m at Tshwane-Tshwane.
