Accommodation at the four-star lodge is provided in six en-suite thatched chalets all of which are tastefully decorated according to a modern African theme. One of the chalets is the Honeymoon Suite where newlyweds spend romantic days in privacy enjoying the magical, African bushveld. A laundry service is available on request.
Accompanied by a professional game ranger, the thrilling bushwalks depart from the lodge after breakfast and lasts for about an hour and a half.
The game drive vehicles can seat eight guests comfortably, but the game drive vehicles can accommodate 10 guests. Both game drives, the early morning game drive as well as the late afternoon/evening game drive, are approximately 3 hours in duration.
The Nkorho lodge has an infinite edge swimming pool and a smaller rock pool available for guests to cool off in during the hot summer months. There is a shaded lounge area and pool loungers available around the swimming pool, looking out over the open area and watering hole nearby. A selection of wildlife can be observed drinking here every day.
One of the unique offerings of the four-star Bush Lodge in Sabi Sands is the Digital Photographic Course where guests can learn how to capture amazing images of the 'Big Five' and the African bush.
The check-in time at the lodge in Sabi Sands is from 12h00 noon. It is recommended that guests are at the lodge by 16h00 / 4h00pm in order not to miss the afternoon game drive. The departure from the lodge takes place after breakfast or by 11h00am.
The winter (May to September) in the Kruger National Park region of South Africa is mild to pleasant during the daytime, however, nights can be cold, warm clothing is recommended. During summer (October to April) it is hot to very hot with occasional rainfall. Protection from the sun is necessary and a hat and sunscreen are recommended.
