The nThambo Tree Camp offers a unique safari experience in the heart of the wildlife-rich Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. 

The Camp features an inviting outdoor lounge as well as a dining area which are under thatch roofing. From here beautiful views of the waterhole which is in front of camp can be enjoyed. Furthermore, spectacular views of the Drakensberg mountain range is seen in the distance can also be admired from the nThambo.

For an unforgettable bush camp safari experience, nThambo features a traditional boma where outdoor dining is enjoyed under the star-studded African sky.

The Tree Camp in the Klaserie Reserve provides five chalets which promise to create an intimate and personal safari experience for travellers. Each of the five tree houses is solar-powered and raised on stilts with wooden floors. 

The walls are made of canvas tenting, and the roof has been compiled from thatch giving visitors that unique bush experience. The tents all have their private verandah which provides the most spectacular views of the plains that extend from the camp.

The tents at nThambo accommodate two guests which mean that this safari camp in the Greater Kruger National Park can only accommodate ten guests, making for a private and tranquil wilderness stay.

Guests staying here can enjoy spectacular safari drives. Visitors are led on a beautiful bush adventure by experienced and professional game rangers. Safari drives will see visitors travelling through the African Bush in areas which are rich in wildlife.

While on a safari drive, guests have the privilege of viewing some of the most beautiful and magnificent wildlife species that the African Bush has to offer such as lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, hippo, giraffe and zebra to name but a few.

The area surrounding this exclusive safari camp is also rich in a diverse array of birdlife which offers some spectacular sightings for bird watchers.

This Camp also provides bush walks for guests who would like to experience the African Bush on foot and exciting night drives where guests could have the rare opportunity to view a lion kill.
