Royal Tree has ten Luxury Tents are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and outside showers while fans and tea/coffee facilities provide extra comfort. The two Honeymoon Chalets are air-conditioned featuring king beds and outdoor showers. The main lodge offers guests access to the large communal dining rooms and lounge, outside deck and swimming pool. WIFI is available in the main lodge for guests to make use of while the office has a telephone and fax facilities.

Private and romantic, the honeymoon cottages offer king-size canopy beds with soft, white linen. The cabins are well equipped including a large sunken bath, loads of candles and an outdoor shower.
The luxury tents are built on exotic hardwood floor decks and offer magnificent views of the quiet African forest. Relax to the sounds of Africa while enjoying a candlelit old-world-bath experience in the en-suite facilities or take in the beauty that is the Kalahari skies while enjoying the outdoor shower.
The Maru style tents are of good design and attractively furnished. Well-placed beneath a canopy of large shade trees the tents offer crisp cotton linen, comfy twin beds and overhead fans ensuring that guests enjoy peaceful sleep after a day of African bushveld adventure.
Horseback safaris are the ultimate in safari adventures and with years of experience and training, the horses remain calm in the presence of game and riders can pass by the resident wildlife with just a few feet between the animals and themselves. Safari rides can be arranged alongside the beauty of the river or within the reserve itself.
At peak season, it is possible for over 300 species of birds to be in the vicinity of the safari lodge, making this one perfect setting for birding enthusiasts. It is not unusual for birders to see between 50 and 70 species in one day, especially in summer as that is the best time for both Palaearctic and Intra-African migrants.
With over 40 years guiding experience the lodge’s director and the personal safari guides share a lifetime of stories with guests as they search for the "Big 5" game. The safari drives provide guests with fantastic photo opportunities as they revel in the natural beauty that is Botswana.
Flights are booked on a per-hour-basis and deliver a thrilling and fantastic platform to experience the Okavango Delta from above. Scenic flights are offered in a helicopter or fixed-wing plane and ensure that guests can see and capture on film game in the remotest of locations.
Wildlife, which roams within the reserve, include; amongst others, giraffe, zebra, kudu, eland, gemsbok, impala, springbok, ostrich, vervet monkey, and duiker.
