Scenic Flight

Scenic flights are available in a helicopter, or fixed wing plane, and this medium ensures that guests can see and capture on film, wildlife in the remotest of places.  Flights are booked on a per-hour-basis and provide a thrilling and fantastic platform to experience the Okavango Delta from above.

Horseback Safaris

Horseback safaris can be arranged alongside the river or within the reserve itself for guests staying at the Royal Tree Lodge in Botswana.  These rides are the ultimate in safari adventures and with years of experience and training, the horses remain calm in the presence of game and riders can ride passed the local wildlife with just a few feet between the animals and themselves.

Birding

During the summer months of Botswana in Southern Africa, it is not unusual for birders to see between 50 and 70 species in one day as, in peak season, it is possible for over 300 species of birds to be in the vicinity of the lodge, making this one perfect setting for birding enthusiasts.

Swimming

Guests have the opportunity to relax next to the sparkling swimming pool or, better still, enjoy the cool waters on their warm skin as they swim under the African sun.  As the swimming pool is unfenced, children should be supervised at all times.
