Sausage Tree Safari Camp is in the Big Five Balule Nature Reserve, which is part of South Africa's Greater Kruger Park. The camp is surrounded by pristine African wilderness, making for an ideal safari destination. Accommodation is provided in tents which are fully furnished, provide en-suite bathrooms and offer viewing decks from where magnificent views can be enjoyed.
Sausage Tree lodge is easily accessible by road and by flight. The Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS) is approximately a 42 minutes drive away from the lodge, the Phalaborwa Airport about 54 minutes and the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport KMIA lies between 2 - 3 hours away.
The lodge's unique African safari tents nestle between Knobthorn Acacia, Marula and Sausage Trees overlooking a dry river bed, the pristine bushveld and the Drakensberg Mountains. The spacious tents have been built in an elevated location to take full advantage of the scenic views. Fully furnished and providing their en-suite bathroom with a bath and outdoor shower, the tents are complete with private decks.
