Sediba Lodge is in an amazing location amongst the rolling hills teeming with wildlife which you will get to see on your safari drives and walks in the reserve.
The lodge has an amazing team of rangers who will track the big five for guests put them up close with amazing sightings of elephants, lions, and rhinos while teaching visitors about the unique fauna and flora found in this particular region of South Africa.
This magnificent lodge in the Waterberg consists of two camps, namely the Letlapa and the Letlapala Camp. Letlapa, which means 'rock' lodge, nestles in a valley with a perennial stream running through it. The Letlapa Camp is home to ten suites and is, as a result of the design and sheer size of the suites, the more spectacular of the two lodges.
The Letlapala Camps can be translated as the 'place of the sun', is the more intimate of the two lodges as it only features five suites and one main lodge. Each of the camps offers guests access to a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.
The hand-crafted and stand-alone chalets at the lodge, feature spacious bedrooms, welcoming lounges with fireplaces and some with open-plan bathrooms. Along with modern-day features including air-conditioning, each suite has a private viewing deck which overlooks the scenic Waterberg mountains of the game reserve.
The chalets decks all have outdoor Jacuzzis as well as outdoor showers both of which can be enjoyed in complete tranquillity and privacy. Every detail has been carefully selected to create a delicate balance of wild and African luxury. Of its 15 suites, one of the suites has been designed to accommodate guests in wheelchairs.
We would recommend Sediba Lodge if you are looking to spend a romantic weekend away. The suites are incredibly spacious and private. It was lovely to sit in our private Jacuzzi while sipping cocktails overlooking the game reserve. The staff is excellent and treat you like royalty and not to mention the meals: wow - just amazing, five stars at its best.
