The Tarangire National Park is one of the least visited parks in the country but remains one of the most exciting. In the heart of Maasai country, this lodge lies in total seclusion amongst giant acacia and baobab trees.

The Swala camp's thatched restaurant, lounge, deck and library exude an African design while a sparkling pool overlooks the busy waterhole. The luxury tents here are Eco-friendly, with a little carbon footprint. Each room is manned by a personal attendant. 

Meals are served in the main dining deck, or picnic baskets can be enjoyed in the park. Guests can also enjoy sundowner drinks and canapés around the campfire a while private dinners can be enjoyed on your tent deck or in the bush upon advanced request.

Swala Lodge guests can enjoy intimate safari experiences and Safari drives that are offered in the morning and afternoons while walking safaris, night safari drives and hot air ballooning at an additional cost. Visitors are also provided with the opportunity to visit the local school and beekeeping project that the lodge sponsors.
