Accommodation at The Highlands is provided in luxurious tents which offer the ideal balance of a comfortable wilderness escape. The eight uniquely domed suites are elegant providing king-sized beds.

Through the floor-to-canvas-ceiling bay windows, magnificent views can be enjoyed in the surroundings. En-suite bathrooms feature hot running water, as well as showers and flushing toilets. For the cold winter evenings, guests may make use of the wood-burning stoves.

Empakaai descent: Travellers have the chance to descend into the scenic Empakaai crater accompanied by an NCA game ranger. One can walk to the soda lake which lies on the crater floor. It is world-famous for the uncountable pink flamingo which lives on its shores.

Community & cultural visits: Visitors may spend the afternoon visiting the local Maasai in a neighbouring village and learn about their traditional way of life and culture. Ngorongoro Crater descent: A once in a lifetime experience is the adventurous safari drives in the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater.
