The Taita Falcon Lodge is stunningly perched 230m above the Zambezi River on the Zambian side of the Batoka Gorge with an amazing view across the gorge and the river featuring a main-lodge and seven chalets.  

Taita Falcon Lodge Just 11km from Victoria Falls offering a unique African bush experience. The lodge’s focus, being an owner-run property, is on providing personalized service to every guest. 

Each of the spacious en-suite chalets has its private garden and an outdoor shower, bathroom with the shower with hot and cold water, a toilet, and mosquito nets. Constructed of reed and stone the chalets have three-quarter walls bringing the feel of outside, in. With creature comforts catered for in its elegant down-to-earth design.  Chalets are individually prepared as a twin, double, triple or family rooms, ideal for all needs.

Indigenous gardens merge alongside a “bush zen” sand garden at the lodges entrance and the chalet exteriors; with a cooling “green theme” around the swimming pool.  The African boma provides an enclosed area for evening winter meals to be served, hosted around the open fire.

A spacious viewing deck and the adjacent lounge space is host to meals and pre-dinner drinks in conjunction with providing expansive views downstream and miles beyond!  Each freshly prepared meal offers a delicious “Euro-African style” hearty dishes with healthy options and sides to accompany.

Taita provides a paradise for birding and hiking enthusiasts in and around the Batoka Gorge, game drives to witness the African animals in their natural habitats and sunset cruises.
