The Ekuthuleni Lodge in the Welgevonden Game Reserve is a three hours drive away from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Daily road transfers and air charters are on request. The Ekuthuleni Lodge provides a helipad for helicopters.
The Welgevonden Game Reserve itself offers two landing strips. No private vehicles are allowed within the Welgevonden Game Reserve. Guests park their car and are picked up from the Welgevonden main gate by the game rangers of the Lodge.
Directions to the Ekuthuleni Game Lodge, Welgevonden Game Reserve:
Take the N1 north to Polokwane.
At the Kranskop toll gate, keep left to Nylstroom / Marble Hall.
At the T-junction turn left towards Nylstroom / Modimolle and continued straight on for approximately 71km to Vaalwater / Mabatlane.
Pass through Vaalwater / Mabatlane on the Thabazimbi road for approximately 25km and make a left at the main gate.
Do not take the left turning at the south gate or East gate.
On site parking facilities are provided for guests.
