Choose from flying directly to the Arathusa on one of the daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg or Nelspruit. A flight from Madikwe to Sabi Sand or decide to do a self-drive, Jaci’s Sabi House is accessible easily by both road and air.
Transfers from Nelspruit are available on request. To request private chartered flights, please contact us for booking.
Self-Drive from Johannesburg: The recommended self-drive route from Johannesburg is via the N12 and continues up-to Witbank, which then becomes the N4, continue straight travelling through Middelburg and on towards Belfast.
Switch to the R540 to Dullstroom, continue through Lydenburg, Origstad travelling by the Strydom tunnel.
When getting near to Hoedspruit take the R531 direction Klaserie, Acornhoek and following the signs to Sabi Sand to the Gowrie Gate.
Please be aware that the last section of the road is on gravel and the guests will need to drive slower. Please allow extra travel-time if it has rained.
Follow the signs to the campsite.
Jaci’s Sabi House is about a 12 kilometres from Gowrie Gate. Please be aware that the drive includes a gravel road, the condition of which is dependent on the season and when it has been levelled by the local municipality.

The self-drive route from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport:
Take the R40 to White River, Hazyview, Bushbuck Ridge and Acornhoek. Following the signs for Sabi Sand to Gowrie Gate. Following directional signs to the camp. Jaci’s Sabi House is about 12 kilometres from Gowrie Gate. Please call the Lodge directly on + 27 (0)79 694 8430 to update them on your expected time of arrival as you pass through Bushbuck Ridge or Hluvakani. Please note the drive includes gravel road, the condition of which is dependent on the rain and when last it was levelled by the local municipality
