Thrilling walking safaris can also be enjoyed by guests staying at the Jock Safari Lodge.

Rock Art

The Rock art sites at the Lodge date back to more than 3 000 years and portray the experiences of the San people who were depicted in the form of the rock art seen today.

Frogging safaris

The Jock Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park, South Africa, offers a unique Frogging Safari. With an estimated 34 different species of amphibians in the Kruger National Park, froggers are issued headlights, nets and gum boots and set out after dark in search of some frogs.

On the safari frogs are caught, identified and released back into the wild. Recent “catches” include Banded Rubber Frogs, Bubbling Kassinas, Sand Frogs and Painted Reed Frogs. The rainy months of November through March are the top months for frogging.
