Game drives

Guests staying at the Mabula Villa have their personal game ranger.  Therefore, the game drives are available at leisure at any time during the day.  Guests are welcome to determine the departure times as well as the duration of the game drives through the malaria free Mabula Game Reserve.

This game reserve in the Waterberg of South Africa is home to magnificent wildlife including the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant).  Guided walking safaris are available on request and evening game drives can be arranged as well.

The welcoming lounge area provides a flat screen television with full DTSV bouquet.  The Villa can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests.

Directions

Directions to the Mabula Villa from Johannesburg:

- Take N1 freeway towards Pretoria.
- Turn off onto Polokwane (Pietersburg) highway.
- Follow the road to Bela Bela.
- Take the Bela Bela Settlers off ramp.
- Turn left at a yield sign and proceed for 5kms to T- junction turn right into town.
- Go over bridge and turn left at the garage.
- Follow Thabazimbi road.
- Follow the road past the Forever Resorts Aventura down to the traffic circle.
- At circle turn left on the Thabazimbi Rooiberg Road and proceeded along for 34kms.
- Look out for the Mabula trading store.
- 501m past the shop turn right on Rooiberg tarred road.
- Follow Mabula signs for 11kms to Mabula gate.
