Game drives

Guests staying at the Mahali Mzuri Safari Camp in Kenya get to enjoy two daily game drives. The game drives take place in the early mornings and the late afternoons when most of the wildlife can be observed at its best.

Travellers are taken through the Motorogi Conservancy north of the Maasai Mara by experienced and knowledgeable guides in open vehicles. While out on game drives, visitors get to encounter a number of magnificent animals species that call this area home.

Children Policy
  • The Mahali Mzuri Safari Camp near the Maasai Mara, Kenya, welcomes children who are eight years old and older.  

    The camp offers two tents and two fold out beds in the lounge area to accommodate two children.  Children under the age of 12 years may unfortunately not go on the safari walks but can accompany adults on the exciting game drives through the untamed African bush.

The magnificent Mahali Mzuri Safari Camp in Kenya offers 12 luxury tented suites.  The suites have been designed and placed in such a manner as to make guests feel like they are part of the surrounding wildlife and environment.

The unique Mahali Mzuri Safari Camp can only accommodate a maximum of 24 guests at any time giving visitors a feeling of seclusion and privacy. 

The camp's tented suites in the Motorogi Conservancy north of the Maasai Mara National Reserve offer a large living space and feature a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a separate lounge area and a large viewing deck from which to enjoy the spectacular wildlife which grazed on the plains.

Directions

To get to the Mahali Mzuri, you will need to catch a chartered flight from the Wilson Airport in Nairobi. The chartered flight will take you to the Mara North Airstrip. Once you arrive, you will be transferred to the safari camp.

Mahali Mzuri is about 240km west of Nairobi, and the best way to arrive is by plane from the city's Wilson Airport, which serves domestic destinations within Kenya.

Flights take approximately 1 hour 10 minutes, and we can arrange transfers between the international and domestic airports for you and recommend hotel accommodation in Nairobi if you need to plan for an overnight stay.

Once you arrive at the Mara North airstrip transfers to the camp are included in the rates.
