There is no restaurant at this camp. The bungalows as well as the guest cottage feature self - catering facilities (kitchenette).
This rest camp features an outdoor swimming pool to which guests have access to.
For a more up close and personal African experience guests can go in either the morning or the afternoon game walk through the bushveld. These are led by experienced and armed game rangers who share theirs in-depth knowledge about the local wildlife and flora and fauna with their guests.
Early morning, sunset and evening game drives through the Kruger National Park with professional and experienced rangers and trackers are on offer for guests to enjoy. Game drives for children between the ages of 6 and 16 years of age are also available.
Children are welcome at this rest camp but those under six years of age may not go on the game drives and only children 12 or over may go on the game walks.

These air-conditioned bungalows feature two single beds with a kitchen that contains a fridge, hotplate, sink and utensils. The bathroom has a shower.

This guest cottage has two bedrooms, each with three single beds and a well-equipped kitchen.There are two bathrooms in this cottage with a bath and a shower.
One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom (WC, bath, and washbasin). A separate WC, shower and wash basin for general use are also available. This room type has a fully equipped kitchenette (fridge/freezer combination, Cooking utensils, sink, cutlery and crockery). The outside veranda makes for an excellent lounge.

Access by road to the camp via the Orpen Gate:
Head toward Nelspruit on the N4 and take the R540 Belfast turn off.
At Lydenburg turn left onto the R36 heading north.
30 km before Hoedspruit turn right onto the R531 and head to the gate.
Allow between 4 to 5 hours for the trip to the gate.
The Orpen Rest Camp is right at the gate.
