Game viewing

Covering more than 9000 hectares of supreme African bushveld, the four - star Shiduli Private Game Lodge in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve is home to the "Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant. 

Many other animals can also be observed on the early morning and late afternoon game drives.  Shiduli's open vehicle game drives are perfect for game viewing.   Guests may enjoy a sundowner while the sun sets over the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains.

The exciting game drives are conducted by Shiduli's qualified game rangers and Shangaan trackers who share their vast experience of the African Bush.

Bush walks

Guests staying at the four star Shiduli Private Game Lodge may explore the Africa bushveld also on foot accompanied with a professional guide and ranger.  This excellent opportunity allows visitors to get to know the smaller animals of the bush.

Bird watching

The bird life in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve of South Africa is colorful and prolific with over 365 different bird species.  This is a true bird watchers paradise.

The conference centre at the Shiduli Game Lodge in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve, South Africa, caters for up to 40 delegates.  Conference equipment and tools include notebooks, internet facilities, sweets, water and cordials. 

Brainstorming, strategic sessions and team building in the magnificent African bushveld make for a successful event.  Conference packages can be tailored to meet specific requirements.  Exciting activities such as bush walks, animal tracking and the game drives can also be included.

    • Children between 0 and two years old are accommodated on a complimentary basis.
    • Children between the ages of 3 years to 11 years old are provided at 50% of the adult tariff, sharing a family room with adults.
