Singita Pamushana Lodge is involved in conservation and the upliftment of local communities. The Malilangwe Trust was established using guest contributions and profits from tourism to the lodge.
The Trust is acclaimed for its ecological research, breeding and protection of endangered species as well as for its projects with regards to sustainable community development. In one of the trusts projects, 23 000 school children in the vicinity of the lodge are fed a balanced meal each school day.
