Kings Mask Restaurant
The Kings Mask Restaurant features an elegant African atmosphere. The dining venue can seat 140 people and is ideal for special occasions and functions. Traditional South African cuisine can be enjoyed at Kings Mask while specialties consist of superb ostrich and venison dishes.
A variety of bush venues is also available for dining at Chandelier while romantic candle light dinners can be enjoyed on the private wooden deck of your tented chalet.

Ostrich tours and riding
Oudtshoorn is known as the ostrich capital of the world, and Chandelier is the closest ostrich show farm to both Oudtshoorn and George. The ostrich tour gives guests insights into the history of ostrich farming at Chandelier and the tours are conducted in open land rovers. As Chandelier is a working farm, guests are invited to interact by participating in activities like feather clipping. Ostrich riding is also available.
Game Drives
Chandelier Game Lodge is set on 3500 ha of Karoo bushveld and Cape fynbos. Game drives at Chandelier are an unforgettable experience where guests can spot Sable Antelope, Lechwe, Waterbuck, Bontebok, Kudu and Giraffes from the comfort of open land rovers.
Mountain biking
Chandelier Game Lodge is one of a few game reserves that are Mountain Bike friendly. The reserve also hosts some Mountain Bike challenges every year.
Cultural trails
Chandelier offers guests a guided Khoi-San Cultural Trail which gives insight into the indigenous people of the area. Trained guides give guests a look into the lives and culture of these tribes.
Animal farm
Chandelier has an animal touch farm where guests can interact with Zebra foals, young Springbuck, Eland calves, Oryx gazelle, Shetland ponies and horses. These tame animals are welcome to roam around the reserve as they please.
Shopping
Guests may browse the curio shop for a variety of ostrich goods while visitors may also paint their own ostrich shells in the Craft Centre.

Malaria Status and Animals
The chandelier is home to 23 species of antelope and guests may also spot an elusive black-backed jackal or a rare, indigenous leopard while on a safari drive through the reserve.
Social Responsibility
The chandelier is home to a community Craft Centre that was established to create jobs for the unemployed. The Craft Centre is open to the public while visitors are invited to paint their Ostrich eggs. The previously unemployed in fact now own and manage the Craft Centre themselves while products are for sale at the Curio Shop.
The Chandelier Reserve also features its own Spekboom Nursery, which is responsible for the planting of indigenous vegetation on the reserve.

The Chandelier Game Lodge at South Africa's Garden Route offers guests luxury tented accommodation. Each tented chalet is located on a wooden deck in the African bush, and every unit offers the ultimate in privacy and spectacular views. A private viewing deck overlooks a waterhole where guests can view the animals as they come and go. Two small children are welcome to share one chalet with parents.

The second self-catering option at Chandelier, namely the Rustic Log Home is also set on a wooden deck which overlooks the Swartberg mountains. Offering braai & barbeque facilities, this rustic log home offers one en-suite bedroom and a kitchen/lounge with a sleeper couch and bunker bed. Suitable for families with young children, this log home can accommodate two adults and four children.

The self-catering African Log Home has been constructed on a wooden deck from where breathtaking vistas over the mountains and surrounding plains can be enjoyed. This accommodation features a wide open deck which is complete with braai/barbeque facilities.
The house offers two en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen/lounge with an extra bed, television, air conditioning, heaters for the cooler winter days, as well as a fridge and a gas stove. The African Log Home accommodated four adults and two children.

Chandelier is easily accessible, next to the N12 (Route 62), and is an ideal base from which to explore the Garden of Eden along the Garden Route as well as the rich diversity of the Klein Karoo and Route 62. The lodge is 7 km from Oudtshoorn and 48 km from George and the George Airport.
