Directions to the Cheetah Plains Private Game Reserve from Johannesburg:
Depart Johannesburg via the N12 highway and continue to Witbank, which then becomes the N4 highway, continue straight, through Middelburg and on towards Belfast.
Switch to the R540 to Dullstroom, continue through Lydenburg, Origstad, and the Strydom tunnel.
On approaching Hoedspruit take the R531 to Klaserie, Acornhoek and then follow the signs for Sabi Sand to Gowrie gate.
Please note that the last section of the road is on gravel and guests will have to drive slower, (do allow for extra travel time especially if it has been raining).
Follow signs to the camp.
Cheetah Plains is approximately 12 kilometers from Gowrie Gate.

Directions to the Cheetah Plains Private Game Reserve from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) in Nelspruit:
Take the R40 to White River, Hazyview, Bushbuck Ridge, and Acornhoek.
Then follow the signs for Sabi Sand to Gowrie Gate.
Follow signs to the camp.

Johannesburg approximately 6 hours ( about 500km)
Hoedspruit nearly 1 and a half hours ( 160 km)
Nelspruit approximately 3 hours ( 250km).

Flight access to the Cheetah Plains Game Lodge
Daily flights can be booked on SA Airlink, Federal Air, and General Air.
The airports are situated within close driving distance to the Cheetah Plains Game Lodge, with Arathusa being approximately a 20-minute drive, Hoedspruit a 1.5-hour drive and the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) a 2.5-hour drive.
The road transfers from Hoedspruit Airport or Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) to the Cheetah Plains Lodge can be booked.
